At Mother Wildโs first retreat Down Under, expect deep belly laughter and cleansing tears, realizations and inspiration, as we move through yoga practices, journaling, workshops, meditations, breathwork, sauna sessions, icy dips, deep conversations and even deeper rest.
Designed with local and international guests in mind, the retreat is offered in two parts:
- A three-night stay on Aucklandโs Waiheke Island, famous for its vineyards (we love a bit of de-tox and re-tox), golden sandy beaches and laid-back pace.
Followed by:
- A two-night weekend getaway surrounded by nature in the Waitakere Ranges, a rugged mountain range west of Auckland famous for its dramatic coastline and lush native forest.
Participants can opt for the full five-day retreat, making the most of New Zealandโs natural beauty with a bush and beach experience; or they can take a two-night reset in the heart of the 16,000 hectares of regenerating native forest that make up the Waitakeres.

Carmela Fleuryโis a Wayfinder Master Coach, a Certified Holistic Health Coach, a Yin Yoga teacher, and a Psychosomatic facilitator-in-training. She loves leading retreats worldwide. This, along with avoiding laundry, has been her specialty since 2011.

Karryn Millerโ has been teaching yoga all over the world for nearly two decades. She has completed multiple Hatha and Vinyasa yoga teacher trainings. She is a certified Reiki practitioner, Yoga Nidra teacher and a Wim Hoff fan. Sheโs likely going to be the one trying to convince you to hop in the ice tub.

Because the food will be delicious, the nature divine, and the post retreat effects are better than napping.

Taking time for yourself is not selfish. We all need time to rest and recharge and to reconnect with ourselves. We canโt full from an empty cup. Trying to do so makes us more tired and resentful and definitely not the version of ourselves that we want to be. Take time for you. You deserve it and nobody is going to give you permission to do so until you give yourself permission.
