Dear Mama Bird,
Looking to rediscover your wild? Interested in connecting with your authentic self, that part of you that may have gotten a little lost between your kids' sports practice and bedtime routines?
Maybe you're looking for connection and community, a chance to relax, re-energize, and re-emerge a slightly sparklier version of yourself.
At Mother Wild’s first retreat Down Under, expect deep belly laughter and cleansing tears, realizations and inspiration, as we move through yoga practices, journaling, workshops, meditations, breathwork, sauna sessions, icy dips, deep conversations and even deeper rest.
Designed with local and international guests in mind, the retreat is offered in two parts:
- A three-night stay on Auckland’s Waiheke Island, famous for its vineyards (we love a bit of de-tox and re-tox), golden sandy beaches and laid-back pace.
Followed by:
- A two-night weekend getaway surrounded by nature in the Waitakere Ranges, a rugged mountain range west of Auckland famous for its dramatic coastline and lush native forest.
Participants can opt for the full five-day retreat, making the most of New Zealand’s natural beauty with a bush and beach experience; or they can take a two-night reset in the heart of the 16,000 hectares of regenerating native forest that make up the Waitakeres.
Come soothe your nervous system, awaken your inner vitality, and nourish your well-being.

Inspiring sheroes in need of some vitamin R: to rest, refresh, recharge, rejuvenate, recalibrate, reassess, revitalize, reprioritize, and retreat.

Mallorca is Carmela’s sanctuary, she can’t wait to share its beauty and peace with you.
Mallorca has been part of every summer of her life (minus the C-19 years) since she was just one-month-old.
La Serrania is just up the road from where she grew up. And yet, it took a Canadian, Lindsay Madsen Kellar, living in Denmark, to introduce her to this hidden gem—because, of course, life works in the most unexpected ways!If all goes well, Carmela’s mother will prepare her famous paella, a dish made with love and tradition, just for us.
For the boat ride, Captainess Carmela will guide you along the same shoreline where she was married and where her father’s ashes now rest.
Carmela can’t wait to welcome you to her magical, deeply cherished Mallorca.
